Our Visionary Leadership

The group was established in 1983 by George Frantzis a 23-year old BSc Hons in Business Administration and Marketing. Besides his business activities Mr. George Frantzis was also involved in the sports affairs of Cyprus and in 2002 became the President of the one of the biggest athletic club in Cyprus, Limassol Athletic Union – AEL. Upon graduation, Mr. George Frantzis started his journey into the world of private entrepreneurship – a journey that has been a very successful one for the last 35 years.

The G. Frantzis Group Evolution

The Early Years
1983 – 1987

  • 1983: The group is established by George Frantzis. Upon graduation, he begins his journey into private entrepreneurship.

  • 1984: Following an initial period of selling used cars, the company begins importing luxury new and used cars from the U.K.

Expansion & Real Estate Entry
1988 – 1993

  • 1988: The group enters the property industry by establishing G. Frantzis Motors & Enterprises Ltd, focused on property dealings.

  • 1989: A major milestone in the automotive sector: G. Frantzis Motors Ltd becomes an official authorized Mercedes-Benz Sub-dealer in Cyprus.

Diversification Phase
1994 – 2001

  • 1994: Further expansion into property with the establishment of G. Frantzis Developing Ltd, specializing in residential and commercial development projects.

  • 1996: The group enters the leisure industry with G. Frantzis Travel & Tours Ltd, offering world-class amenities including limo services, yacht chartering, and private airplanes.

 

Growth & Leadership
2002 – 2006

  • 2002: The group introduces New Line Parts Ltd, providing tailor-made investment and consulting services in Cyprus and overseas.

  • 2002 (Community): Mr. George Frantzis becomes the President of the Limassol Athletic Union (AEL), one of Cyprus's largest athletic clubs.

  • 2004: G. Frantzis Motors Ltd begins operating as Purchase Agents for Mercedes-Benz branded cars.

Refining Excellence
2007 – Present

  • 2007: To ensure top-tier aftersales care, G. Frantzis Motorservices Ltd is established as an authorized Mercedes-Benz service center.

  • Today: The G. Frantzis Group stands as a highly respected leader across the motor, property, and leisure industries with over 42 years of experience and 260+ associates.
